AT&T and Samsung have just announced the new Android phone – Samsung Captivate, a customized edition of the Samsung Galaxy S. The phone runs Android 2.1 and is equipped with a 1GHz Cortex A8 Samsung Hummingbird Application Processor. The AT&T Captivate also comes with a large 4″ super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 MP camera with HD video recording, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Google Mobile Services, 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, 3.5mm headset jack.
And the AT&T Samsung Captivate will be available “in the coming months”.
