Samsung officially announced the new Samsung Droid Charge Android phone will be available for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement on April 28 in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online. The Charge is running Android 2.2 Froyo, and supports 4G LTE that means you 4G can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. The phone specifications includes:
- 1GHz application processor
- 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display
- a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with LED flash
- a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chatting
- HTML 5 Web browser support
- 4G LTE
