It’s rumored that HTC plans to launch the first quad-core android phone – HTC Edge. The phone also has a candybar design. It might boast a a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, and pack 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with 28-millimeter and f/2.2 lens, Beats Audio. The Edge should comes with HTC Sense 4.0. But all of these are not official.

The new HTC Rezound Android Phone is officially announced, and it will head to Verizon. It will be available for $299 starting November 14 with a new two year contract. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm MSM8660 CPU with HTC Sense 3.5, 4.3″ super LCD WVGA 1280×720 display, an 8.0MP camera with autofocus and video recording, a 2.0MP front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage memory, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and a 1620 mAh battery.

AT&T has just launched two new android phones: HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Both phones will support 4G LTE and it will be available starting Nov. 6. The HTC Vivid android phone will be available for $199.99 with a two-year commitment while Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocke is for $249.99.
