Yes, that’s right. The HTC Touch HD is back, and this time, the new HTC Touch HD2 will sport the Google’s Android OS, instead of the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1, even not 6.5. Obviously, the big success of T-Mobile G1, Vodafone Magic and the Hero make HTC to do the decision. And this will be HTC’s forth android phone.
And the new HTC Touch HD2 will use a 628MHz Qualcomm chip as opposed to the 528MHz that most of the high-end HTC models run on. But the phone still features a 3.8in touchscreen with the same 480 x 800 display used in the original Touch.

Sprint and HTC Corporation officially announced that the new HTC Hero is coming on October 11th. And the Hero runs on Google Android platform with 3G network, and also offers synchronization for built-in Google mobile services, including Google Search™, Google Maps™, Gmail™, and YouTube™ as well as access to thousands of applications built on the Android platform.
The Sprint HTC Hero will available beginning on Oct. 11 for $179.99 (excluding taxes) after a $50 instant savings and a $100 mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement.

HTC officially announced that the new HTC Touch2 will be available to customers on October 6 with broad availability in a variety of European and Asian markets in early Q4 2009.
The HTC Touch2 will runs on Windows Mobile 6.5, and features the outfit’s TouchFLO interface, Microsoft Exchange support, a redesigned Internet Explorer Mobile and the new My Phone service to back up and sync photos, music, contacts and text messages for free from the Touch2 to the web.
