The highlight of the HTC Hero is HTC’s new user interface, HTC Sense. It’s really cool, and most attractive. So many Android phone users want to know whether it can update to the new UI. Here is your answer. Eric Lin, a company spokesperson, responded to the question:
We are looking at bringing the HTC experience to existing Android phones, so long as they are not Google branded since those require the Google experience. We are still in the process of determining how to do this, but when we do it will only be available for HTC branded Android phones.

But what is Google branded phone?
The first Android models from this company — the T-Mobile G1 and HTC Magic — have the standard user interface created by Google, and therefore have the Google logo on their back.
That means that any device with the Google logo won’t get an upgrade to the new HTC Sense user interface.
