HTC Phones - LG’s First Android Phone GW620 Unveiled

After releasing of Motorola CLIQ, Motorola shares rose nearly 9%. It’s really a happy news. And this gives LG the fidgets. Finally LG officially launched own Android phone – GW620. The new Android phone comes out with a slide-out QWERTY keypad handset, a 3-inch full touchscreen as well as social networking support. No more specifications is available. But Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said:

“The LG-GW620 will appeal to first-time smartphone customers by offering a new and different kind of user experience.Our objective is to provide a wide selection of smartphones to satisfy the diverse preferences of today’s consumers. This Android phone is just one of many smartphone models we plan to introduce worldwide in the years ahead.”

In addition, the GW620 android phone will be available in Q4 2009, and only in “select European markets”.
