HTC Phones - HTC Desire HD Android Phone First Look Impressions, Boasts Android 2.2 Froyo

It seemed that HTC is planing to launch new HTC Desire HD Android phone. The phone might be available on October. As a update version of HTC Desire, the Desire HD looks familiar with HTC EVO 4G. And it will run Android 2.2 Froyo, and features a large 4.3″ touchscreen display. Other specs includes:

HTC Phones - Android 2.2 Froyo for Sprint HTC EVO 4G Will Be Available Next Week

It’s said the Android 2.2 Froyo for Sprint HTC EVO 4G will go out next week. It’s really a good news. And the new update features:

- Ability to share applications
- Display events and birthdays from Facebook on Calendar
- Use camera LED as flashlight
- New user interface for the FM radio
- Add unknown users in Facebook as friends in Friend Stream
- Photo Gallery supports Facebook comments function
- Send contact as vCard using SMS
- Addition of MMS slideshow editor
- New pre-loaded widgets including Calculator, FM radio, Message list view, Profile settings and Ringtone settings
- Camcorder can use camera flash so video can be shot at night or in low light
