HTC Phones - CyanogenMod 6.0 (Android 2.2 Froyo) Testing On T-Mobile G1

CyanogenMod 6.0, a new Android 2.2 ROM supporting T-Mobile G1, has just released. Chris Soyars shows off CyanogenMod 6.0 running on a T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream). Although it is still a test0 version, it works smooth. Can’t wait.

HTC Phones - Installing CyanogenMod 5.0.4.2 On Motorola DROID (video)

The CyanogenMod ROM is the best I’ve ever used. And Droid-life has released a video of installing CyanogenMod 5.0.4.2 (features multi-touch) on Motorola DROID android phone. You like it, too. Do the following:

1. Root your phone.
2. Install ROM Manager from the market: Download Link
3. Download the newest Cyanogen: Download Link
4. Place Cyanogen file in the root of your SDcard.
5. Open ROM Manager and “Flash ClockworkMod Recovery”.
6. In ROM Manager go to “Install ROM from SD Card”.
7. Select both options for “wipe data” and “perform a backup”.
8. Let it go to work and you are finished.
