HTC Phones - HTC Qilin (Dopod T8388) 3G Smartphone Coming To China

The new HTC Qilin is a WinMo 6.5 3G smartphone, and it’s coming to China under HTC’s Dopod brand, as T8388. The phone is for China Unicom’s 3G network – TD-SCDMA.

The HTC Qilin has a candybar design with a big touchsreen. And main specifications of Dopod T8388 includes:

HTC Phones - HTC Hero And HTC Click Coming To China, And Dopod Will Release Five And Seven More Android Phones

HTC Hero and HTC Click is coming to China, according to HTC. The HTC Click is a low-end Android handset that “uses China’s homegrown 3G standard, a low-end phone with a removable face. And the phone supports the WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) 3G standard used by mobile operator China Unicom.” said Jackie Zhang, marketing director at Dopod.

And the HTC Hero will start shipping in China late this month. The device is for China Unicom’s 3G network, and features the wireless LAN security protocol, Wi-Fi.

HTC Phones - New HTC Tachi Winows Mobile 6.5 Phone Hit China In July

The new HTC Tachi cell phone will be the first smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.5. And the phone is coming to China in July exclusively on the Dopod network. The Tachi, once codenamed Twin, will be doubly compatible CDMA and GSM. It has two locations for SIM cards. And the device looks familar to HTC G1, right?
