A rumor about HTC Snap Windows Mobile Upgrade To WM 6.5 from WMpoweruser:

The HTC Snap is part of HTC’s concerted effort to take on the Blackberry goliath, but so far the device has been difficult to recommend, not least because HTC has not included it in its official list of devices getting the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade, which amongst other attractive features will bring MarketPlace for Windows Mobile to the lucky devices.

Now the Bluetooth Certification Organization, as they are wont to do, have leaked the existence of a Windows Mobile 6.5 build for the HTC Cedar, the Verizon version of the HTC Snap.

HTC Phones - T-Mobile Dash 3G Cell Phone Hands-on Photos (Video)

T-Mobile has announced the Dash 3G, aka HTC Snap, a slim mobile with a physical keyboard for messaging. The phone looks sexy. And you’ll note that the Dash 3G lacks the green HTC Inner Circle button on the keyboard, but is otherwise very, very similar. Enjoy!
